Monoma guides Finnish minister in Aurora project Espoo
The Finnish Minister of the Interior, Maria Ohisalo, paid a visit to the City of Espoo Aurora Project. Located in the historical park of the Träskända manor, Monoma offers temporary cultural, recreational, work- and housing spaces on the premises since February 2022.
The minister was triggered by the results the transformation of the property, which consists of former nursing home premises and their ancillary functions, has achieved. The facilities have been updated to be suitable for this new purpose with the lightest possible changes and while respecting its dignity and history. After meeting with the various residents, she emphasized in her speech the initiative taken by the City of Espoo and the partnership with experienced companies like Monoma to realize these kind of projects. The tour ended at the terrace of summer cafe Aiju, where all attending enjoyed drinks and good company.
